Shoppers can visit the Helping Hands Hawai‘i trees in center court, the Macy’s wing and the theatre wing from now through Dec. 17. Simply choose an ornament off the tree, buy the gift listed and drop off the unwrapped item to Red Pineapple or Rock ‘N Fun.
Ka Makana Ali‘i’s partnership with Adopt A Family provides a way for the West Oahu community to give a little extra this holiday season to individuals and families who may be living in poverty, battling illnesses, recovering from domestic violence, suffering from severe mental health challenges, enduring homelessness or living with other barriers that threaten their household’s stability and success.
Popular items requested include art supplies, gift cards, pots and pans, toys, books, stuffed animals, baby clothes, diapers, wipes, and common household items.
