Celebrating Five Years of Moani Island Bistro & Bar, Ka Makana Ali‘i Welcomes Back Moani’s West Fest 2024

West O‘ahu’s official music festival is back at the Center for West O‘ahu on Saturday, June 15, with entertainment by The Green, Ekolu, Johnny Suite, Malino, Kawao, Sons of Yeshua & more

KAPOLEI, HI (June 12, 2024) — Ka Makana Ali‘i is pleased to host the return of Moani’s West Fest 2024 on Saturday, June 15, from 4 to 10 p.m. to celebrate five years of Moani Island Bistro & Bar. West Oahu’s official music festival, presented by Moani Island Bistro & Bar, will feature food, music and fun for the whole family with entertainment by some of Hawaii’s biggest names in music including The Green, Ekolu, Johnny Suite, Malino, Kawao, Sons of Yeshua, and more! Doors open at 4 p.m. with music starting at 4:30 p.m.

WHEN: Saturday, June 15 from 4 to 10 p.m.

WHERE: Ka Makana Ali‘i in the parking lot between California Pizza Kitchen and ʻŌlino Theatres

West Fest 2024 will take place in the parking lot of Ka Makana Ali‘i near ‘Ōlino Theatres, Taqueria el Ranchero and California Pizza Kitchen. The all-ages festival will set up a large stage for entertainment and feature a full-service bar and beer garden by Moani, along with local retail and food vendors, including Ono Viet (@onoviethi), Anastacia’s Pizza (@anastacias_pizza), Nikkiz Pastelez (@nikkiz_pastelez), Ry’s Poke Shack (@ryspokeshack), Silvia’s Sweets (@roksilva), Tropicold Wai (@tropicoldwai), Shaverma (@shaverma.llc), Krazy Dogs (@krazydogshi), Kickin’ Sweets (@kickinsweets), Twisted Lumpia (@twistedlumpiahawaii), Da Bald Guy (@dabaldguy_foodtruck), and Dem Matas  (@dem.matas).

We are grateful to be part of this signature event once again!”

Ka Makana Ali‘i is offering free off-site parking at the Kroc Center (91-3257 Kualakai Pkwy, Ewa Beach, HI 96706) and a continuous shuttle to and from the festival (approximately every 10 minutes) from 2:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Additionally, the Center will also provide a special event shuttle for Skyline riders that will run continuously (approximately every 10 minutes) to and from Skyline Kualaka’i East Kapolei Station 1 and West Fest at Ka Makana Ali‘i from 2:30 to 9:30 p.m. Skyline will also offer extended hours with the last full trip from Kualaka’i East Kapolei Station 1 to Hālawa Aloha Stadium Station 9 at 9:40 p.m. and the last train from Kualaka’i East Kapolei Station 1 to Pouhala Waipahu Station 5 at 9:50 p.m.

West Fest general admission tickets can be purchased in advance online for $60, and for $70 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online at www.westfesthawaii.com or at Moani Island Bistro & Bar.

In June 2019, Moani Island Bistro & Bar opened at Ka Makana Ali‘i and was a dream for brothers Micah G and Caleb Keolanui. Growing up in a large, close-knit and musically driven family, the brothers got their start in the local music industry in 2002 and continue to stay connected to the local music scene.
