Ka Makana Ali‘i Closes Due to Tropical Storm Olivia

WHAT: Ka Makana Ali‘i will be closing Tuesday, September 11 at 7 p.m. due to Tropical Storm Olivia.

WHY: The National Weather Service has issued a tropical storm warning for Central Oahu. Due to severe weather and recommendations from the local authorities, Ka Makana Ali‘i will be closing early Tuesday, September 11 at 7 p.m. and will remain closed until further notice. Safety is a top priority at Ka Makana Ali‘i so the center will be closed temporarily until we receive further direction from the National Weather Service and local authorities.

WHEN: The Center will be closed Tuesday, September 11 at 7 p.m. until it is safe to reopen. We will update our website with additional information as it becomes available.
