Ka Makana Ali‘i Welcomes Moani’s West Fest 2023

West O‘ahu’s official music festival is back at the Center for West O‘ahu on Saturday, April 29, with live local entertainment by Fia, Ekolu, Likkle Jordee, Koauka, Ten Feet and more

KAPOLEI, HI (April 26, 2023) — Ka Makana Ali‘i is pleased to welcome Moani’s West Fest 2023 on Saturday, April 29, from 4 to 10 p.m. West Oahu’s official music festival, presented by Moani Island Bistro & Bar, will feature food, music and fun for the whole family with entertainment by some of Hawaii’s biggest names in music including Fia, Ekolu, Likkle Jordee, Koauka, Ten Feet, Kaipo Kapua, Mahkess, Chardonnay and more! Doors open at 4 p.m. with music starting at 4:30 p.m.

WHERE: Ka Makana Ali‘i in the parking lot between California Pizza Kitchen and ʻŌlino Theatres

Ka Makana Ali‘i is offering free off-site parking and a shuttle to and from the festival. West Fest 2023 will take place in the parking lot of Ka Makana Ali‘i near ‘Ōlino Theatres, Taqueria el Ranchero and CPK. The festival will set up a large stage for entertainment and feature beverages by Moani available for purchase, along with local food vendors.

“We can’t wait to bring back West Fest to Ka Makana Ali‘i!” said Micah Keolanui, owner of Moani Island Bistro & Bar. “This festival is our way of bringing the Moani experience to the big stage for all of West O‘ahu to enjoy.”

West Fest general admission tickets can be purchased in advance online for $40 through midnight Friday, and for $50 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online at www.westfesthawaii.com.

In June 2019, Moani Island Bistro & Bar opened at Ka Makana Ali‘i and was a dream for brothers Micah G and Caleb Keolanui. Inspired by their backyard family parties, Moani is known for their local comfort food, live music and inviting family feel. Growing up in a large, close-knit and musically driven family, the brothers got their start in the local music industry in 2002 and continue to stay connected to the local music scene. They’ve since opened a second restaurant in Waikiki and are now bringing the Moani experience to a bigger stage so all of West O‘ahu can experience well-known live local performers without having to drive to town.
