Ka Makana Ali‘i Welcomes The Collective by Hawaii’s Finest with Custom Printing and Embroidery Production, Photo Studio & More

The brand will have two spaces in the Macy’s wing of the Center and expand their retail offerings to include a photo studio, music studio, concert venue and custom productions

KAPOLEI, HI (May 4, 2023) — Ka Makana Ali‘i is pleased to welcome The Collective by Hawaii’s Finest and a new Hawaii’s Finest clothing store to the Center for West O‘ahu. Hawaii’s Finest opened its largest storefront at Ka Makana Ali‘i in Nov. 2019. The 11,600-square-foot retail and creative space near Macy’s will now be known as The Collective by Hawaii’s Finest.

“We are super excited to continue to build with the West O‘ahu community and are looking forward to doing great things at Ka Makana Ali‘i,” said Hawaii’s Finest owner Paulele Alcon.

The Collective by Hawaii’s Finest is a creative space designed to innovate, cultivate and collaborate. It is a one-stop-shop solution from apparel design to marketing to help bring a vision into reality. From concept to creation, the Hawaii’s Finest in-house team can design and source products ranging from custom-printed or embroidered garments to professional signage solutions. The Collective by Hawaii’s Finest houses the latest embroidery machines, direct-to-garment printers, and a large-format UV/LED printer.

Guests can create a custom collaboration with the Hawaii’s Finest logo or the in-house design team can create an exclusive design. This can then be printed on a variety of products, including shirts, tanks, long sleeves, dri-fit products, hats, beanies, hoodies, windbreakers, zip up jackets and tote/drawstring bags, etc. Additionally, the space will be home to the HI Finest headquarters (office), a photo studio, concert venue, retail store featuring products made in-house and a music studio in the works.

In March, Hawaii’s Finest opened a brand new, 8,000-square-foot retail location next to H&M and across Milky Cereal Bar that will sell Hawaii’s Finest and Mau Hawaii products.

Hawaii’s Finest specializes in creating shirts, hats, dresses, aloha shirts, bikinis, shoes, slippers, jerseys, jackets, and more. Each piece is inspired by the Hawaiian culture – its history, people, issues, and triumphs. The brand started in 2009 as a hobby for owner Paulele Alcon and turned into a full-blown clothing company a few years later. Passion was what kept the brand going, and producing affordable events and clothing for customers is its main motivation. With a large customer base and huge support in West Oahu, the brand decided to expand at Ka Makana Ali‘i to better serve its customers.
