Ka Makana Ali‘i Celebrates Five Years as the Center for West O‘ahu with Five Weeks of Giveaways & Promotions

Now through Sunday, Oct. 17, the Center will host gifts with purchases, weekly giveaways, sidewalk sale, savings pass, scavenger hunts, and a $1,000 makeover

KAPOLEI, HI (September 22, 2021) — Ka Makana Ali‘i is honored to celebrate five years as the Center for West O‘ahu. Community is at the heart of everything Ka Makana Ali‘i does. To celebrate its fifth birthday, the Center is hosting five themed weeks of exciting giveaways, sales, promotions and gifts with purchases from Friday, September 17 and continuing through Sunday, October 17.

Ka Makana Ali‘i’s five weeks of giveaways ends with a final grand prize of a $1,000 BFF makeover at Ka Makana Ali‘i! One pair of best friends will receive the royal treatment so they feel their most beautiful. Follow the Center on Instagram @kamakanaalii to stay up to date with giveaways announced every Wednesday.

Week Two: We Love Local!
The Center celebrates this week by highlighting its amazing local businesses! From Friday, September 24 through Sunday, September 26, shoppers are invited to spend $125 throughout the Center, present their same-day receipts and receive a $10 gift card to Foodland Farms, while supplies last.

The celebration continues with ‘ohana time! Ka Makana Ali‘i is giving away a $200 gift card package for a family fun day. Follow the Center on Instagram @kamakanaalii and sign up to be a Royal Insider at https://bit.ly/royalinsider. The winner will be randomly selected on Tuesday, September 28.
 
Week Three: Community
Community is at the heart of everything at Ka Makana Ali‘i! From Friday, October 1 through Sunday, October 3, shoppers are invited to spend $125 throughout the Center, present their same-day receipts and receive two ScreenSaver movie passes to ‘Ōlino by Consolidated Theatres, while supplies last.

As a thank you, Ka Makana Ali‘i is giving away a $200 gift card package for a dine-in experience at Ka Makana Ali‘i restaurants. To enter follow the Center on Instagram @kamakanaalii. The winner will be randomly selected on Tuesday, Oct. 5.

Week Four: Fashion & Style
Need an excuse to step up your fashion game?! Celebrate the Center’s 5th birthday with a style refresh! From Friday, October 8 through Sunday, October 10, shoppers are invited to spend $125 throughout the Center, present their same-day receipts and receive a $10 gift card to either H&M or Macy’s, while supplies last.

From Friday, October 8 through Monday, October 11, browse the latest trends during the Style Refresh Sidewalk Sale and save big with a Birthday Card 20% Off Savings Pass filled with offers from the Center’s local and national retailers.

Celebrate the birthday with a brand new look! The community is invited to enter to win a $200 gift card package to update their wardrobe at Ka Makana Ali‘i's amazing shops! To enter, follow the Center on Instagram @kamakanaalii. The winner will be randomly selected on Tuesday, October 12.

Week Five: A Royal Celebration
It’s the final weekend and the Center is celebrating with exclusive prizes for Royal Insiders! From Friday, October 15 through Sunday, October 17, shoppers are invited to spend $125 throughout the Center, present their same-day receipts and receive a $15 Ka Makana Ali‘i gift card, while supplies last.

Plus, Royal Insiders who spend $250 or more at the Center can redeem receipts for a $15 Ka Makana Ali‘i gift card and an exclusive cosmetic bag, or spend $500 or more and present receipts for a $15 Ka Makana Ali‘i gift card, an exclusive cosmetics bag and a limited-edition signature beach towel.

It's the final giveaway to celebrate the Center’s fifth birthday, and one pair of best friends will win a $1,000 BFF makeover at Ka Makana Ali‘i! Feel your most beautiful with hair care, makeup, wardrobe and more. To enter, follow the Center on Instagram @kamakanaalii. The winner will be randomly selected on Tuesday, October 19.

Same-day receipts can be redeemed in Center Court from 12 to 6 p.m. each gift with purchase weekend.

In addition to each themed weekend, the Center will celebrate with special promotions that run throughout the five weeks of birthday celebrations.

High Five for Farmers at the Farmers Market
Shoppers who sign up to be a Royal Insider at https://bit.ly/royalinsider can receive a special Farmers Market passport via email. Royal Insiders that shop five times or more with Farmers Market vendors on Wednesdays from 3 to 7 p.m. or Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. throughout the birthday celebration can receive a free Ka Makana Ali‘i tote bag! While supplies last. Offer is valid through October 17, 2021.

Scavenger Hunt
From October 1 to 17, keywords will be hidden throughout the Center for shoppers to locate and text to win. Participants that complete the scavenger hunt will be entered to win one of five prize packages.

Surprise & Delight
To reward shoppers for their loyalty, Ka Makana Ali‘i will surprise random shoppers with gift cards as they make their weekday purchases. Photos of delighted guests will be posted to the Center’s social media to encourage followers to shop at the Center’s retailers for a chance to win their own “surprise & delight” experience.
